20 years in practice
I’m Alison Peacham, a registered nutritional therapist & health coach with over 12 years of professional experience. I specialise in women and children’s nutrition, helping them to eat well, live well and transform their health for the better. Lack of energy, chronic stress, bloating and indigestion, aching joints, hormonal problems, sleep issues, allergies, stubborn weight gain, low immunity, moody or ‘fussy eater’ children……sound familiar? As a nutritional therapist I CAN help by using laboratory testing and identifying root causes of any health issues. I will work with you to create a tailored plan that includes best foods for your body, a supplement programme and lifestyle recommendations. Clients tell me changing their diet has been a life-changing experience, that taking back control and making even small changes has made a massive difference. I have also experienced the power of nutrition first-hand and a transformation in my own health. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in my 30’s, I started to seriously investigate food and its links to and effects on health. This experience was a catalyst for a career change from primary education to qualified nutritionist, studying at the world-renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION). I currently run 1:1 and group programmes for women and children across the UK, I am a clinical supervisor for undergraduate nutrition students at ION, and I lecture on child health. I held the role of a senior academic at ION for over eleven years. During this time I also ran the Children’s Specialist Clinic at ION and I worked with hundreds of children and their families and spoke at conferences on children’s health. If your child has a health concern, please get in touch. I can guide you towards your health goals and arm you with the knowledge, tools and motivation to help you transform the health of you and your family. I look forward to working with you.
About my key specialisation
I specialise in women and children’s nutrition, helping them to eat well, live well and transform their health for the better.
About my practice and approach
My approach is to work closely with you to identify and understand where imbalances lie in your health, diet and lifestyle. I will ask you to complete a comprehensive health and nutrition questionnaire, which will help me to consider your symptoms, medical history, and family history. This information is key to getting to the root of the problem. We will work together to identify your issues and goals and create your Health Optimisation Plan. Once you start this exciting journey I will always be available to ask questions and provide guidance and support.
